Being part of Maxicare team is one of best choices I’ve ever done in my life. I am very grateful for the trust that they extended to me on yet another turning point in my career. I was faced with difficult challenges along the way and job stability is one of those. I wouldn’t forget that day when I went out of Maxicare’s office and all the worries and feelings of hopelessness were replaced with relief and comfort. I am very fortunate and glad to meet these people who are honest and full of integrity to deal with.

Through and through I received their support and helped me get back on track to be able to stand on my own. From the administrator to all of the employees, everyone is just very pleasant and professional to work with. I never had any problems communicating with them and I know that this is a company that actually listens and cares. There is a true sense of family is this company and for that, I am very proud to be part of.

P.S. Thank you sir Lemuel, that day when I spoke with you, I felt really relieved, hopeful and grateful to the point of crying (I held it in very well. :) because I know in my heart that I’m not alone in the sea of uncertainties anymore and you’re a wonderful person that really cares for your employees. I don’t know if I really ever thank you enough. :)

My fresh stint with Maxicare has been incredibly rewarding. The support I have received, every step of the way — from recruitment, to the interview, relocation, up to my very first day of assignment — was right on point. I was fortunate enough to continue my journey here in the U.S. with Maxicare, whereby personal development enables me to take on the many challenges I will meet along the way. Cheers to better opportunities!

Last year I experienced one of the worst things that could happen to me and my American dream, that is losing my job because my former employer decided to let go of me. Tried applying to other companies but many have declined because of the complications of my working visa. Prayed and begged God to give me a miracle, and yes! He gave me Maxicare Therapy.

Sir Lemuel did not hesitate and accepted me to be part of their company. I know that there’s a long process to get that green card, but I trust Maxicare will help me every step of the way.

Everyday I thank God for sending me to this amazing group of people.

I would not have been able to have the courage and the capacity to process my visa and other requirements if not for Maxicare Therapy. In as much as I gave my trust to the company, the company also trusted me by providing me an opportunity to make it abroad. This mutual trust had been the solid foundation of my experience with Maxicare Therapy – it goes beyond that of a basic employer-employee relationship and extends to building personal connections and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Maxicare Therapy Services, Inc., I had almost settled for the “American Dream” to be just that – a dream. I was on the verge of resigning to the fact that work is a mere rat race and the best that I could do is to keep my head down, work hard and just run to keep up with the pack.

It was a fortunate blessing when I chanced upon learning about Maxicare Therapy during a seminar held by Sir Lemuel in Makati last 2014. I had thought that the seminar was just another advertising stint for recruitment of therapists but as I sat and listened to his talk, I realized that at the core of the presentation, was a genuine person, presenting genuine care and offering an opportunity for a better future. It was then I realized that this is what sets Maxicare Therapy apart from other companies – they are a company that has a heart, built and established by Filipinos who had hands-on experience in building a life in the States.

I would not have been able to have the courage and the capacity to process my visa and other requirements if not for Maxicare Therapy. The biggest lesson that I learned from my experience with the company and through my conversations with Sir Lemuel and Ma’am Sheila was that opportunities are available, but fortune only favors the bold, and it would be your decision if you would grab the chance when presented. I’m thankful and fortunate to move forward in my career with Maxicare Therapy.

“Maxicare Therapy saved my family’s life when I lost my job in Indiana late 2011. My wife and I always dreamt of moving to Illinois and we were given the opportunity when a friend of mine referred me to Maxicare Therapy the year I lost my job in Indiana. I was reluctant at first because I didn’t have any home care services experience but when I spoke with Lemuel from

Maxicare, I reconsidered the option because he was very accommodating and helpful. Maxicare was very prompt in processing all my requirements so I can immediately start working. The company offered me a very generous compensation package. I didn’t have any hassles with my work transition and everything went smoothly because everyone from Maxicare were very patient with me and provided me with the guidance and support I needed.

Maxicare also sponsored my EB2 permanent residency and my wife and I just recently received our greencards (Feb 2014). The company is well organized and detail-oriented with all the documents and requirements needed to avoid unnecessary delays and problems.

I’ll always be grateful to Lemuel and Maxicare for the opportunity they’ve given me and I can truly say that I’m working with great people who treat everyone as family!

Thank you Maxicare Therapy!!!”

“I arrived in the US last July 23, 2012 in Detroit as point of entry and was given until January 12, 2013 to pass the NPTE by the immigration officer who stamped my I-94. Unfortunately, I was not able to pass the July 31, 2012 NPTE so my Florida based petitioning employer made a decision to let me stay here in the US provided that I pay for the accommodations via a loan with another Florida based staffing company. So from July to October 2012, we stayed in an apartment to review and study for the October PT exam. I was thankful that I made the October exam and have with me my New Mexico as my primary PT license.

I was then deployed to Washington, IA on January 14, 2013 to work in a nursing home for 13 weeks. Unfortunately, my assignment was cut short because the facility I was assigned to made a permanent hire to takeover my position. Also, since my H1B visa already expired and my employer was still in the process of filing for an H1B extension, I couldn’t get a US driver’s license nor buy a car so I only used an international driver’s license and only rented a car for the whole duration of my work. To expedite my case, my employer told me that I should pay the premium processing which I did. Unfortunately, USCIS stopped the clock of my premium processing due to an RFE. So while waiting for my employer to respond to the USCIS, I asked permission to come to IL and temporarily stay with my family so I don’t have to pay for apartment and car rent. 2 weeks later, my employer called and informed me that they will withdraw my H1B extension due to the following reasons:

1. They can’t give any document showing that I have a license to practice from July 26, 2012 to October 2012.
2. They can’t give proof that I was employed and paid my salary.

Instead of finding a way to satisfy the RFE that the USCIS requested, I was told by my employer last March 2013 that I will be sent home to the Philippines in a few days without any guarantee that I would be able to come back here in the US. I was told to report to our head office immediately so I could get my plane ticket back home. I’ve had numerous sleepless nights not knowing what will happen to me and my wife who was still in the Philippines and I was terrified everytime someone knocks on our door fearing that it were agents from the homeland security coming to deport me. It was the lowest time of my life and I reached rock bottom.

Luckily, my brother-in-law is good friends with Lemuel, the President of Maxicare so when he asked for his help, Lemuel did not even think twice to take my case. Maxicare used all of their resources to make sure that I did not get deported and did everything to make sure all my immigration papers were straightened out without asking a single penny from me. After a few months, I finally received my greencard (august 2013) and I was able to start working again. But this time, I now have a peace of mind knowing that I don’t have to watch my back for any USCIS agents coming to deport me. Thanks to Maxicare, I now have the opportunity to bring my wife here in the US so we could start building our dreams together.

God really answers prayers and He answered mine by sending Maxicare during the darkest days of my professional life.”

“Maxicare Therapy Services Inc. is a great company to work for. I was impressed with the response I received when I first started with them. The staff and management are very professional, supportive, and courteous and go out of their way to help in every way they can. They were able to place me in a position that benefited my experience. I’m very grateful that I was able to find Maxicare because they played an important part in helping us in our plight here in the States.

One experience I won’t forget, the USCIS denied the immigrant petition under EB2 filed by my previous employer. Luckily, Maxicare was there to assist my family and me during that time and they were able to save my petition. Their administrator and lawyer worked diligently to provide USCIS all the documents needed and it only took 7 months until my entire family received our green cards. Because of this, I could say that working for Maxicare has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life.

Thank you Maxicare.”

“As much as I had enjoyed being part of this company since, it is hard for me to ignore this MAXI-CENTRIC view of mine, but share it.

Before I joined this team way back, I was almost ready to embark to another company then. As to everyone’s notion, bigger companies yield a full basket of privileges and guarantees. This was my preeminence, as I was sparsely equipped for residency and career in this “LAND of MILK and HONEY”, as we call it. Hence, my roster for opportunities were not only big-talkers but also multi-states wide situated.

But rationally, it tells me to stick to this more frugal power plant for my tenure, MAXICARE, and let them do the rest for my footing here in the US. After all, I feel contented on its more engaging environment, whether if it’s a long commute or short, to my residency. As it goes “time is swift if you rejoice, but slow if you wait”. And believe me, they made it possible shorter than I expected it. I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE! This is how I earned, more than what they paid.

If your job involves applying a set of logical rules to task after task, at a fixed reap, in here THERE’S MORE TO IT. Sky is the limit. More depth, more perspectives, at broader horizons.

My point?? This is my view of employment. – The MAXICARE ADVANTAGE!”

“When I was asked to write a testimonial about Maxicare Therapy Services, I gladly said yes without hesitation. I made the decision to join the company just last year and I did not regret my decision. Aside from the friendly and competent staff, what I appreciate the most is that they respond to you when you have questions with anything. I had experiences with companies that prolong their responses to your inquiries for reasons I cannot fathom, but with Maxicare I never had to wait long for a reply. I was also surprised at how fast they process H1B transfers and they are true to their word regarding EB2 applications. I am currently in the process of applying for my EB2 and I am hoping for the best. The support of this company for their therapists is invaluable and I am happy to be a part of the team.”

I was devastated and had a rough time with everything that happened to me, but Lemuel assured me that they could help me. True enough, he kept his word. Maxicare is my saving grace and I will always be thankful to them for all the help and support they have given me. I’m in the right place at the right time with the right people.
